Anne Keehn

Biography

Anne Keehn most recently served as the Global Education Lead for Zoom and was a Senior Fellow for Technology & Innovation for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's Postsecondary Success team. Ms. Keehn is regarded as thought leader, collaborator and futurist in higher education. She has over twenty-eight years of experience in developing, scaling and leading education technology organizations that span both administrative and academic solutions for education institutions globally. Currently, she is the founder and CEO of Quantum Thinking, an academic innovation company providing advisory, design, build and research services to higher education institutions, foundations, industry and government. Ms. Keehn has also served as President, Global Solutions, for Kaplan Ventures; SVP of Pearson Learning Solutions & Pearson eCollege; SVP for Corporate Strategy, Innovation, New Product Development and Marketing for SCT/SunGard (now Ellucian) and was an early stage Executive VP of Global Sales and Client Relations at Blackboard. Prior to joining Blackboard, Ms. Keehn was VP of HE Sales for PeopleSoft (now Oracle) and a Sales Director for Datatel (now Ellucian). Early in her career, Ms. Keehn was Director of Development & Alumni Relations at Prescott College and led adaptive Outward Bound Programs (Proj, Marj) for Towson University. Ms. Keehn has been published and speaks globally about higher education trends such as academic innovation and change, new models of leadership, education technology and the advancement and support of teaching and learning. She serves on the Advisory Board for the University System of Maryland’s Kiran Center for Academic Innovation and is co-planning a National Convening for the Reform of Planning and Advising for Postsecondary Education Insitututions along with the Social Science Research Council (SSRC) and other foundations. One of her favorite accomplishments has been co-creating a MFA & MA in Design Management with Savannah College of Art & Design in 2007. Ms. Keehn holds a B.S. in English from Towson University, Maryland.
