Anne Milkovich

Biography

Anne Milkovich is the Chief Information Officer at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, leading IT strategy and innovation to enable the mission and goals of the University and to assure a seamless and supportive IT experience for students, faculty, and staff. Anne's career includes over 25 years of experience in information technology fields with 10 years of experience in higher education. She strategizes the business and social side of IT, making sure that IT serves human needs, not the other way around. Her track record spans IT governance, strategic planning and policy, IT service management, the Program Management Office including portfolio management, program and project management, IT financial management and human resource management. Before entering higher education at Montana State University, Anne started her career with Microsoft in international and domestic user education and went on to consult for organizations including General Motors, AT&T, Learning Tree International, and Global Knowledge as well as national and state agencies, small businesses, and non-profits. Anne has a Doctorate in Education from Montana State University, with research in the application of portfolio theory to the prioritization of resources for improved institutional performance and agility in adapting to change. She holds an MBA from the University of Montana and is Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) through ISACA, is a PMI-certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a SHRM-certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
