Bert Wachsmuth

Biography

Bert G. Wachsmuth, Associate Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science, received his Ph.D. from Indiana University in 1991, where he worked on problems related to the Monge Ampere Equation in Several Complex Variables. After spending one year as Visiting Assistant Professor at Dartmouth College, he joined Seton Hall University in 1992. He continues to work on problems in Complex Analysis, but has since added Computer Science and Teaching with Technology to his research interests. He is actively involved with the "Teaching, Learning, and Technology Center" at Seton Hall University, where he has created projects such as "Thinklets" (http://sciris.shu.edu/thinklets/) or the "Academic Computing Data Depository Project" (http://repository.itd.shu.edu/).
