Diane Butler is Associate Vice President in the Office of Information Technology at Rice University. She provides leadership for academic technology for teaching and learning. In addition, she provides leadership for the Business Intelligence team. Diane's service to EDUCAUSE includes conference presentations at the local and national level as well as a member of the ELI Advisory Board (2015-2018), a member of the 2009 Annual Program Committee, the 2011 West/Southwest Regional Committee Chair and faculty for the Management Institute (2012-2015). In her 22 years at Rice University, she has held various roles in campus IT and the library. Diane was a fellow in the 2006 Frye Leadership Institute. She was an ARL Leadership Fellow for the class of 2013-2015. She holds a Masters in Business Administration.
