Biography

Edward Carter is a Senior Director & Chief Information Security Officer at Ohio University, where he is tasked with the overall security of the university's information assets. Ohio University has an enrollment of over 20,000 students, including 5 regional campuses, and employs over 4,800 people. Ed's responsibilities include incident detection and response, as well as performing vulnerability assessments and forensics. He also leads Information Security projects, and develops project plans. Ed holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications Systems Management from Ohio University.
