Eli Stefanski

Biography

Eli is Chief Market Maker, leading BIF’s development efforts, and BIF’s Citizen Experience Lab. With over a decade of experience in building and leading social ventures, Eli is an accomplished social innovator with a deep knowledge of the new platforms required to catalyze and scale social innovation. Eli’s has a background in International Service, with a BA from American University, studying a combination economics, political theory, and anthropology. She studied field research methods through the School of International Training and Innovation Leadership through the University of Maine. Eli started her career in public health and policy, before moving into social innovation. She has served in senior and executive leadership positions at Ashoka, GlobalGiving, and the Maine Women’s Fund.
