Howard Kramer

Biography

Howard Kramer is a certified ATP who has worked in the field of Assistive Technology for more than twelve years, focusing on computer, workstation and media access. Mr. Kramer worked at the National Center for Persons with Disabilities in Albertson, New York before moving to Colorado in 1992 to join the Center for Adaptive Technology outside of Denver. Since 1997, he has been with Disability Services at the University of Colorado-Boulder, where he established the CU Assistive Technology Lab which serves students with disabilities who need specialized computer access and alternative media format. He is also a cofounder of the annual Accessing Higher Ground Conference: Assistive Technology in Higher Education.
