Biography

Jung-Hoon Kim, Associate Director, AECOM Strategy+ Jung-Hoon Kim is a learning environments planning strategy consultant at AECOM Strategy Plus, which focuses on helping organizations achieve tangible goals through research and strategic planning. Since joining Strategy Plus in 2007, he has contributed to and led a wide variety of projects for corporate and educational clients including, Google, Microsoft, GlaxoSmithKline, Smithsonian Institutions, SUNY Buffalo (master plan), Johns Hopkins School of Medicine (library visioning), UVA Darden School of Business (library learning landscape planning), University of South Carolina (library planning) and NC State University (library planning) among others. Working with a consortium of futurist thinkers and technology experts, he has also contributed to one of the winning teams, ‘breakout!’ of the competition, ‘Toward the Sentient City’, which was sponsored by the Architectural League of New York. Drawing inspiration from the co-working movement, creative deployment of technology and re-imagining how public spaces can function, 'breakout!' tested the possibility of the 'entire city' serving as a venue for office workers to come together and collaborate.
