Biography

As executive assistant to the president and CEO, Karen Mateer helps to manage the president's calendar and also works with the president and members of the executive team on their projects and communications. She also supports the work of the Young Professionals Advisory Committee, Nominations Committee and Recognition Committee. Prior to joining EDUCAUSE in September 2011, Karen worked at Wheaton College in Norton, Mass., as a donor relations officer and as assistant editor for the college's alumni magazine. Before her tenure at Wheaton, Karen was a cataloging and automation librarian at Augsburg College in Minneapolis.
