Matt Frank

Biography

Matt spent over 10 years working in television and film as a cinematographer and editor before crossing into academia as a media educator, consultant, and creator. As Director of Creative & Technology Support at Loyola Marymount University, Matt oversees a team responsible for all learning spaces, labs, audio-visual technology, the ITS Service Desk, Desktop Support, and the creation of multimedia-based academic resources that improve student learning and promote faculty outreach. His interests include high quality video and audio production, emerging technologies, design, and gaming. Matt holds a B.A. in Communications with emphasis on Electronic Media from Wichita State University and previously worked as part of the Media Commons team at Penn State University and USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
