MK Smith

Biography

MK Smith is Associate Provost and Director of Application Services for Information Technology Services (ITS) at Seattle University. MK leads a dynamic team of dedicated professionals focused on implementing and supporting a wide range of enterprise systems, integrations, and reporting and analytics solutions for the institution, including the university's ERP, CRMs for Admissions, Advancement, and Student Success, content management solutions, collaboration and virtual meeting tools, and specialized administrative systems focused on housing, conference and events, meal plans, and door access. Prior to joining Seattle University, MK served as Director of the Project Management Office in Technology Services at the University of Puget Sound and as Academic Computing Coordinator in the Office of Information Technology at the University of Mississippi. MK has a history degree from the University of Chicago, and her varied career has also included extensive stints as a museum educator and video producer.
