Biography
Patrick O'Sullivan is director of the Center for Teaching, Learning & Technology at Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo. The center was created in 2012 through the merger of the Center for Teaching and Learning and Academic Technology, and now integrates teaching and technology in its services and programs. Previously, O'Sullivan was a tenured professor of communication at Illinois State University and served for seven years as the founding director of that university's Center for Teaching, Learning & Technology. His research specialties include social and personal uses of technology and diffusion of innovations. His Ph.D. is in Communication from the University of California, Santa Barbara (1996), and his MA is in Communication Management from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Southern California (1989).EDUCAUSE Publications
