Paul Lepkowski

Biography

Paul Lepkowski, CISSP, GIAC-GPEN, has been active in the networking and security industry for 19 years. Paul currently is the Enterprise Information Security Lead Engineer for the Information Security Office at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). He specializes in network and system security, vulnerability assessment, private information (PI) protection and penetration testing. Paul works regularly along-side RIT's internal audit department, assisting with various IT security audits. He also has held key architectural and strategic positions in multiple large enterprises and universities. Information security is both his profession and his hobby. Paul is an active member of the FBI's InfraGard group, which is a civilian partnership program for the sharing of information about critical information infrastructure protection. He also is a member of the International Systems Security Association (ISSA). He is involved in planning the Rochester Security Summit, an annual event sponsored by the Rochester, New York, chapter of the ISSA.
