Biography

Rupert Berk is a member of the Enterprise Architecture team in the University of Washington’s central IT organization. As an Enterprise Solutions Architect, he works across service teams and organizations to develop strategies, facilitate technology roadmaps, guide architectural assessments and recommendations of potential new technologies, and lead the development of principles, practices, and guidelines for applying technology to improve business outcomes.

Rupert has over 25 years of IT experience in higher education and industry. He has also held architect and developer roles in application development, integration, and identity management. He leads the Embedded Architects Community of Practice at the UW and serves on the steering team for the Itana API Working Group.
