Scott Krajewski

Biography

Scott Krajewski is the Associate Vice President of Information Technology (Chief Information Officer) at Augsburg University and Luther Seminary. He has also served as Director of IT, Director of IT Services and as an instructional technologist for the sciences division. He leads a shared services IT department that supports both institutions.

Recent projects include implementing a campus texting platform, a digital signature platform, and an integration-as-a-service platform.  Past projects include a web time entry system, a campus migration to google apps for education, retention CRM/advising case management system, an admissions CRM, managing a full penetration test (including an internal vulnerability assessment), migrating to moodle, and moving course evaluations from paper to online.

He is a past presenter at the regional User Services Day (GusDay) conference and helped organize peer groups for instructional technologists and help desk managers in the state of Minnesota.

He is a mathematics alumni of Augsburg University and returned in 2000 to work in supporting faculty in a reorganization of the IT department (a concierge support model based on Carleton's model). In addition he earned a master's degree in mathematics from Iowa State University while away from Augsburg. He is a 2009 graduate of the Frye Institute and a 2014-15 Thrivent Fellow. He completed an MBA from Augsburg in 2021.
