Biography

Scott Weyandt is the Vice President of Information Security for Moran Technology Consulting, a premier provider of IT Management Consulting services to higher education and university healthcare clients. Scott has extensive experience in planning, designing, and implementing secure technology solutions for a wide range of enterprise organizations. He has led major engagements assisting public sector, higher education, and commercial clients with strategic technology planning, organizational planning, program and project management, system selection and integration, network design and implementation, and the development of security and compliance policies and best practices. Scott received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago. Prior to IT consulting, Scott spent several years working in higher education in a variety of roles, including: faculty, research and teaching fellow, project manager for a university library and IT operations.
