Thomas Cox
Biography
Thom Cox is currently Director of Design Practice for Tufts Technology Services at Tufts University where he is responsible for the long-term vision, development, management, and delivery of a comprehensive IT service design practice to support organizational and university priorities and objectives. Thom's diverse background includes experience in higher education as well as corporate start-ups and mid-sized companies, and includes expertise in leadership, project management, front-end web development, interactive and user experience design, and instruction. Thom sees innovation and creativity in IT as a cause and chairs the Innovation and Creativity in IT Affinity Group at Tufts. Thom has had the pleasure of presenting at EDUCAUSE and NERCOMP national conferences, HighEdWeb, Internet Librarian, and NELINET. When he is not traversing the IT landscape with his colleagues at Tufts, Thom can be found performing jazz guitar in the Boston area.EDUCAUSE Presentations
