Tim Foley

Biography

Tim Foley is the Chief Information Officer for Library and Technology Services at Lehigh University. He has been at Lehigh for over twenty five years holding various educational, technical and administrative positions including technical consultant and associate director of computing. He completed his dissertation in 1988 in Educational Technology with a dissertation entitled "The Design, Implementation, and Evaluation of a Campus-wide Electronic Information System". He has also been actively involved in the ACM Special Interest Group of University and College Computing Services as a board member, conference chair and program chair for their management symposium. His current position provides oversight responsibility for Client Services, Enterprise Systems, and Technolgy Infrastructure and Opeations in a merged library, computing, and telecommunications environment. He has published and presented numerous papers at national and international conferences on the problems and issues of developing, implementing and managing university information systems.
