Biography

Dr. A. Blanton Godfrey is Joseph D. Moore Distinguished University Professor in the Wilson College of Textiles at North Carolina State University. Prior to joining NC State, Blan was Chairman and CEO of Juran Institute, Inc. in Wilton, CT and for nineteen years an adjunct professor in Columbia University's Fu School of Engineering and Applied Science. Prior to joining Juran Institute, Blan was head of Quality Theory and Technology at AT&T Bell Laboratories. He has a Ph.D. and M.S. in Statistics from Florida State University and a B.S. in Physics from Virginia Tech.
