Biography

I have been an instructional technologist at Skidmore College since 2016. Prior to working at Skidmore I worked as an instructional technology fellow at Macaulay Honors College, while pursuing a PhD in Anthropology at the CUNY Graduate Center. While my recent relocation to upstate New York and birth of my beautiful daughter have temporarily held up the finishing of my dissertation, I've been having a blast nonetheless. My career has taken a few twists and turns, as I started off as a mechanical engineer before a long stint in archaeology, and have finally landed in educational technology. My love for both teaching and learning, and desire to help others do both better, is what ultimately led me into this field.
