Biography

Aaron has been with the University of Central Florida since early 2001 and has been with Computer Services & Telecommunications (CS&T) since 2003. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Master of Public Administration degree, both from the University of Central Florida.

As AVP & Deputy Chief Information Security Officer, Aaron is in a senior leadership role driving university wide InfoSec program transformation by developing, and continuously improving Information Security processes including but not limited to InfoSec policies, standards, enterprise risk assessments and metrics. Leading the implementation of new IT security programs, projects, operations and providing guidance regarding specific requirements related to governance, risk, compliance (GRC), and strategy. Responsible for identifying current and emerging information security and compliance requirements of the organization and coordinating the implementation of solutions that address these needs.
