Biography
Aeron Gault is the Vice President of Information Technology at GFM Consulting, Inc. and the Information Technology Consultant for the Department of Psychology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He leads a group that manages a network of Windows, Linux and Mac systems, three data centers, and specialized research equipment. He has conducted research on a unified wireless Voice over IP (wVoIP) network and developed a Distance Learning and Instructional Technology Center at UAB. His staff supports approximately 2500 users within twelve buildings on campus at UAB.
Currently, his primary appointment is with GFM Consulting providing information technology security services to financial institutions throughout the United States.
Areas of experience: information technology auditing and project management, procurement, contract negotiations, high performance computing deployment and administration, wireless VoIP engineering, online instructional technology development.
