Alan Ng

Biography

Alan Ng leads the use of technology throughout the Division of Continuing Studies and helps guide technology strategy for lifelong learning programs across the campus. With academic backgrounds in the humanities, the arts, and hard science, plus decades of experience as a university instructor, he is a liaison between scholars, teachers, administrators, and technologists. He is committed to the goal of maximizing the beneficial impact of the university on the world at minimal cost. Useful skills Alan has gained during his decades as a technologist include: collaborative leadership, strategic planning, program management, project management, business process analysis, instructional technology consulting, instructional design, software development, database application development, Web application development, and IT resource management.
