Alberto Camilli is a tech director and responsible for the operations team at the University of Sao Paulo (USP) Computer Center - CCE. His role is to provide data center operations for the university, hosting and monotoring diverse IT infrastructures and services, from administrative IT to HPC. He's the coordinator of USP's CSIRT initiatives and USP's security comitee, a group whose mission is to elaborate, discuss and deploy a four-year strategic IT security plan for the university. Alberto completed its PhD in computer engineering at the University of Sao Paulo, where he also earned his Master Degree in robotics. Other academic interests include distributed computing, grid technologies and sensor nets.
