Alec Lamon

Biography

Alec Lamon has over 17 years experience in a variety of technical environments and is currently Senior Director of the Wharton School's Research and Analytics group which is dedicated to providing premium technical solutions in support of Wharton researchers. Previously, he led the Custom Applications and Online Services group--a team of developers that produced mission-critical applications, games and simulations for Wharton. He was a founding developer in the Al West Learning Lab and also worked as Systems Manager at Wharton Executive Education where he oversaw the technical aspects of Wharton Direct, an early distributed learning effort. He has a B.A. in English Literature from Middlebury College and did post-graduate work in Literature at NYU. He is still a little bit surprised he ended up in the field of technology.
