Alin Yalcinkaya
Biography
Dr. Yalcinkaya is a postdoctoral research scholar in Digital Education and Learning Technology Applications at North Carolina State University, where she explores the intersection of technology, learning, and design to drive innovative educational practices. With a PhD in Learning Design and Technology, Dr. Yalcinkaya focuses on the impacts of digital learning environments and various technology implementations that foster engagement and effective learning outcomes.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Dr. Yalcinkaya is developing a framework for XR (Extended Reality) in education research, aiming to explore the potential of immersive technologies in enhancing learning experiences. She is also a passionate data visualization designer and generative artist, blending creativity with technical expertise to communicate complex information in visually compelling ways. She believes in the power of data and visual storytelling to enhance understanding and inspire action.
As an educator and creative professional, Dr. Yalcinkaya always seeks opportunities to collaborate across diverse fields within educational technology.
