Allen is the Associate Managing Director of the Technology Support department in the Information Technology Division of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. His primary responsibilities are in the areas of IT Education & Training, Divisional Events & Outreach, and Software Licensing. Allen has a B.S. in Secondary Education from Texas Tech in the areas of Science and Technology and has 8 years of teaching experience in Texas public education. He has another 17 years of experience in technology operations in both the public school and higher education settings. This experience includes the management of enterprise applications, user support, disaster recovery planning, and web application development.
