Amanda Hallman

Biography

I am passionate about cognitive science, human factors engineering, instructional technology, and crafting user-centered, innovative UX/UI solutions. I have experience in qualitative research, cognitive psychology, and translating data-driven insights into actionable design strategies. My passion is inspired through learning, in any and all fields, and I hold a special place in my heart for higher education. My goal is to create technological innovation related to learning and teaching in higher education.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Iowa State University, and am currently pursuing my Master of Human-Computer Interaction and a certificate in Instructional Design at Iowa State. I will graduate with my MHCI in Summer 2025 and my ID Certificate in Fall 2025.
