Amy Ginther

Biography

Amy Ginther is the IT Specialist of Project NEThics at the University of Maryland, a group charged with promoting the responsible use of information technology and investigating incidents of computing resources misuse. Recent areas of focus have included collaborating with the UMD Honors College Advanced Cybersecurity Experience for Students program's foundations class, presenting on IT security/identity theft, policy process planning and consultation, and managing the day-to-day demands of policy enforcement. Amy earned a master's degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs at the University of Vermont, and worked in residential life and judicial programs settings before moving into the IT realm.
