Biography

Dr. Amy Lomellini is the Director of Accessibility at Blackboard, where she advances inclusive digital learning through both her professional expertise and lived experience as a disabled scholar-practitioner. A recognized leader in educational accessibility, she has published peer-reviewed research, authored and co-edited books, and presented her work at international conferences. Dr. Lomellini also serves as adjunct faculty, teaching courses in educational technology and digital accessibility, with research focused on inclusive online course design and the intersection of technology, AI, pedagogy, and equity.
