Biography

Amy is a long time educator, LMS admin, and advocate for inclusive, equitable, and accessible education. Amy is an accomplished and well respected researcher who has presented globally on topics such as: Accessible and Inclusive Course Design, Establishing Presence in the Online Classroom, Learner Engagement, AI in Education, and Minimising Barriers to the Adoption of Learning Analytics Programs. Amy holds a B.S. in Environmental Affairs, an M.Ed. Instructional Design and is currently ABD Ed.D Learning Analytics in Higher Education. She resides in Upstate New York where you can find her hiking, kayaking, in the throws of a home improvement project or serving as chef, chauffeur, medic and cheerleader for her sons and her dog Pearl.
