Biography

Andrea Beesing is Assistant Director of Unified Communications in Cornell's central IT organization. She assumed this position in July of 2011 when the program was first created, and began working with campus groups to align program development with the University's business needs and strategic direction. She has 24 years of experience in IT at Cornell University, encompassing the areas of Identity Management, desktop support, voice and data network deployment, enterprise operations management, directory services, and authentication and authorization services. She holds a master's degree in Slavic Studies from Cornell University and received her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany.
