Biography

Dr. Andrea Gregg’s work integrates learning experience design, faculty development, educational technology, program leadership, and research and evaluation.  She has worked across disciplines (humanities, social sciences, and STEM) and is an established higher education leader with expertise in online, distance education. Her passion is quality education based on the science of how people learn and she is co-author of the award-winning book High-Impact Design for Online Courses (HIDOC): Blueprinting Quality in Eight Practical Steps. She currently works as an associate research professor and director of learning experience design for Penn State's Department of Mechanical Engineering where she co-leads the College of Engineering Certified Microcredentials.
