I am currently the Assistant Director for Client Services at Morgan State University, a Historically Black University in Baltimore, MD. I am responsible for the oversight and leadership for the Division of Information Technology Service Desk, Computer Labs, Desktop Support, Onboarding, IT Asset Management, Forms Management, Incident/Escalation Management, Software Library, and the IT Service Catalog. I maintain daily operations, reporting, metrics, staff hiring, projects, service delivery, and management of Client Services. Manage staff of 7 full-time and 3-5 part-time employees supporting 3,000 hardware devices. I partner with the Information Security Office for security awareness activities and understanding across campus. I provide effective coordination and ticket triage among DIT teams. I manage and direct activities surrounding continual process improvement for Client Services. I am responsible for developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for managing departmental vendor relationships and implementing/maintaining these technologies.
