Andrea Tanner
Biography
Andrea Tanner is an experienced I.T. leader with over 25 years of experience working in higher education. She is skilled in leadership, analytics, and management. She holds a Master's degree in Technology Studies, Information Assurance from Eastern Michigan University and is currently working on a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Morgan State University. Her professional certifications include ITIL and COBIT Foundations. Andrea currently is the Director of Client Services at Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD. She is responsible for the oversight and leadership for the Division of Information Technology’s Service Desk, Asset Management, ITSM activities, Desktop Support, and Classroom Audio-visual teams. Prior to this role, she was the Senior Director for Technology Support at the Community College of Baltimore County, the Director of User Services at Eastern Michigan University, and Manager of Help Desk and Desktop Applications at Oakland University.
