Biography

‘How’ and ‘why’ we learn is just as important as ‘what’ we learn. Over the last 13 years as a university professor and academic administrator I have explored ways to deliver authentic learning experiences that reflect real-world contexts and promote skills that create a sustainable pathway for lifelong learning. Authentic learning is social and collaborative. My "one big questions" are "What is learning in this context? and "By what means can we measure it?"

I lead a team of instructional designers, technologists, and professional development specialists; whose mission it is to collaborate with instructors to create meaningful, engaging and impactful online and blended learning experiences . They help instructors create context and connections between learning objectives, activities, and assessments.
