Biography
Andy Harris is a lecturer in computer science at Indiana Univeristy / Purdue University Indianapolis. He teaches and develops classes on programming languages and basic computer science for non-majors. He also serves as the director of the streaming media lab for the IUPUI CS department. In this capacity he has developed distributed education materials using television, supplemented digital audio, streaming video, and synchronous delivery. He also teaches classes for SEEU in Macedonia via distance education technology.
Andy is the author of several consumer-level books on computer programming topics, including books on programming in Java, JavaScript, C#, PHP and MySQL, and programming on the Palm Pilot. He is currently working on a book on game programming in Flash for a major publisher.
