Bringing Inclusive Language into IT
In the summer of 2020, a cross-team, cross-division group of volunteers in the Office of Information Technology at the University of California, Irvine, came together to create an inclusive IT language guide.

Biography
Andrew Laurence is a systems analyst and administrator at UC Irvine's Office of Information Technology, and a co-author of the department's "Inclusive IT Language Guide". He serves as sysadmin and architect for endpoint tools at the department's central Desktop Services.
