Andrew West is a dynamic and experienced senior IT executive with over 25 years of leadership experience in driving mission-critical and transformational technology projects with budgets exceeding $10 million. As the Director of Enterprise Applications at Prairie View's Dynamic Center of Information Technology Excellence, he is responsible for aligning strategic business and information technology initiatives to foster growth and operational excellence. He is also an Advisory Team Member for the Propel Center Apple Grant Initiative, Board Member of the Impakt Foundation, and a Board Trustee of the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum.

Andrew is an innovative IT modernization leader who leverages data analytics, strategy, and agility to drive optimization and operational excellence. He is a top-performing information technology leader with extensive experience in technology infrastructure, applications, support services, project management, complex networked systems management, maintenance, implementation and network design, information security, server administration, data center operations, Information Technology project management, and Information Technology procurement processing.

West is a Carnegie Mellon Heinz School of Information Systems and Policy - CIO Cohort Fellow, Next Leaders Fellow (NLF) Beta Cohort, and emerging Chief Information Officer. West earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and is a 2016 HIVE Global Leader (Harvard Innovation Lab).
