Biography

Andy Bowen is a Cyber Security Systems Engineer for the Consulting and Architecture team within The Office of Information Security at Penn State University. In this role he offers guidance to colleagues from across the university on secure system and network design. Andy has previous experience at Penn State as a Systems Design Specialist within the Infrastructure division of Penn State IT.

Andy has previous IT experience in K-12 education and local government. He has previous higher education IT experience as a Systems Administrator within the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University.

Andy earned a B.S. from Lock Haven University in 2011 and a M.S. from Dakota State University in 2013.
