Biography
Angela Gosetti-Murrayjohn is an Assistant Professor of Classics at the University of Mary Washington, where she teaches all levels of Attic Greek and Latin and literature and civilization courses in translation. She is on the planning committee for the 2007 Phi Beta Kappa/ American Conference of Academic Deans Conference, and is currently co-organizing a year-long colloquium, Liberales Artes: Higher Education in the 21st Century, at the University of Mary Washington. Her recent uses of teaching and learning technologies in the classroom include podcasts, blogs, wikis, and digital recordings of students reading Homeric hexameter. She has published articles on the biographical tradition of Sappho in antiquity, and is working on a monograph on that topic. She received her M.A. and PhD in Classics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
