Angela Polec

Biography

Angela Polec is the Executive Director of Marketing & Communications at Montgomery County Community College in Pennsylvania. In this role, she oversees branding, enrollment marketing, digital strategy and strategic communications. Angela collaborates with colleagues across the College to leverage data and analytics to improve the student experience and support student success.  She is a member of the project team managing the College’s Integrated Planning and Advising for Student Success (iPASS) grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, is a core member of the institution’s enrollment management leadership team and serves on the college-wide curriculum committee.

Prior to joining Montgomery County Community College, Angela served in multiple roles at Temple University.  As Director of Marketing for the university, Angela oversaw the development of a centralized marketing and branding strategy across a decentralized university structure.  She managed the development of the expanded “Temple Made” branding campaign to encompass every facet of the university. The campaign contributed to the recruitment of the largest and most qualified freshman classes in the university’s history.

Angela has presented at a number of national conferences and co-authored a chapter in the American Council of Education’s book, The Analytics Revolution in Higher Education, which will be released in 2018. She holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from Temple University’s Fox School of Business and is pursuing her Doctorate in Higher Education Management from The University of Pennsylvania.
