Biography

Angela Virtu is a professor in IT and Analytics at American University’s Kogod School of Business, where she teaches courses on technology, data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence (AI). As Associate Director of the Institute for Applied Artificial Intelligence and AI Instructional Faculty Fellow, Angela leads Kogod’s AI adoption strategy across disciplines.

Prior to academia, Angela developed AI and machine learning solutions that bridged theoretical innovation with practical, ethical applications, driving organizational integration and measurable business impact.
