Biography

I am a problem-solver who uses technology to maximize the learner's experience in an online learning environment through engaging and meaningful learning solutions. I combine my experience in web design and user experience to design the functional interfaces that promote engagement in the virtual environment.

I have 25 years of combined experience in engineering, information technology, and instructional design that brings a unique perspective to my teaching, training, and research interests.  

I have over 10 years experience as a trainer and three years as a classroom instructor. My research interests are student engagement, instructor presence, first generation student success, and culturally responsive pedagogy.
