Biography
I’m a learning-focused educator, researcher, and product management leader with 24 years of accomplished experience in the field of education. As a product leader, I’m committed to delivering on strategic objectives, on time, with infectious enthusiasm for excellence and a vision for revolutionizing teaching and learning through smart technology. I specialize in adaptive learning systems and learning analytics products that personalize educational experiences for students in online and hybrid learning environments. Understanding and delivering what learners and instructors need—as individuals—to be successful is what gets us up in the morning! Learning is a personal journey, and we're making the one-size-fits-all approach a thing of the past. How did I end up specializing in adaptive learning and analytics? For a couple of decades, I served as a classroom teacher, professional development trainer, and public school administrator. During that time, differentiated instruction was always a central passion, and now I have the pleasure of modeling best practices through the design and development of personalized learning ecosystems. I also teach university courses in leadership theory, business ethics, education, writing, and research methodology.
