Ann Strickland

Biography

Ann H. Strickland is the Director of Distance Education for Coastal Alabama Community College in Bay Minette, Alabama. In this role, she oversees LMS administration, training, instructional design & technology, and online resources for employees and students. Prior to her current role in distance education, Ann was a faculty member for 13 years at Coastal Alabama Community College (formerly Faulkner State Community College) and taught in the disciplines of Computer Science, Office Administration Technology, and Management Supervision Technology. Additionally, she also served for 10 of those years as Instructional Technology Specialist and for 7 years as the Applied Technologies Division Chairperson.

Ann has an Associate of Science degree from Faulkner State Community College, a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management (emphasis in Human Resources) and Master of Science degree in Technology from Mississippi State University, and an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum Studies from the University of West Florida.
