Biography

I am currently serving as the Director of Online Learning at Heartland Community College in Blooming/Normal, Illinois. Previously, I served as the Educational Technology Coordinator and Instructional Designer for Emporia State University located in Kansas.  I have also served as a TAACCCT Grant Director working with the Department of Labor. I have a rich experience buidling course content and aligning course outcomes with assessment strategies. I am certified in Quality Matters and have been designing courses since the early 1990s. I have worked on multiple LMS systems and specialize in VR/AR implementation in Higher Education. Other interests include 3D printing, AI, Big Data, Microcredentials and Business/Industry program evaluations. I am also very interested in authentic assessments strategies.
