Biography
As the Director of Project Management for Florida State University, Information Technology Services, I am responsible for large scale portfolio and project management for initiatives with global campus impacts. My team works across technology and department boundaries to successfully facilitate and implement impactful initiatives to improve technologies across FSU's campus.
I hold an MBA from Florida State University and maintain PMP, PMI-ACP, and CSM certifications. I am passionate about sharing project management best practices and looking at innovative tools and practices to improve project management across FSU and the industry. I am a member of the local PMI chapter and have presented on topics covering project management centralization, scheduling, risk management, etc.
Prior to joining FSU and standing up a centralized PMO in ITS, I served in the public sector, leading the State Data Center PMO for the State of Florida, oversaw all IT projects over $10 million for the State of Florida, mentored and consulted PMs across the state, ensured that state agencies were complying with project management rules, and reviewed technology budget requests for all state agencies. Leading into my time in the public sector, I was a consulting project manager for Federal IT projects globally.
