Biography

Current:

Member of the Wolfpack as the IT Change Manager with the Office of Information Technology.  CAB Chair, member of the ITSM Process Owner group and ITSM Advisory Team.

Past:

Wake Forest University as the Manager, IT Service Management responsible for managing internal work in-take governance process, ensuring service design processes for new or modified services, and managing technology projects for campus constituients.

Appalachian State University as a member of the CIO leadership team as the IT Project Manager working with the IT governance process and the project portfolio for the Office of the CIO.

Marist College as the IT Client Services Manager overseeing all service and support for students, faculty and staff.

Over 25 years experience working in the IT service industry including over 15 years in higher education leadership roles at both private and public institutions.

Education: BS in Management and Organizational Development; Graduate Certificate in Project Management; ITIL certifications (V2, V3, Intermediate Service Strategy and Intermediate Service Design, ITIL 4); Lean IT.

Career interests: Best practices in IT service management, portfolio management, shared governance models, effective use of data to make informed decisions, building efficient and effective service teams, customer advocate, active and collaborative management environments, and support for a community of practice.
