April Grommo

Biography

Ms. Grommo has extensive project management and functional and technical expertise gained over 20 years of higher education experience including over 15 years of information systems experience with an emphasis in student administration systems. Ms. Grommo has worked in a broad range of institutions including private, public, multi-institution, and community colleges. Her experience spans the entire project lifecycle including planning, budgeting, requirements gathering, design, testing, and production support. Prior to CedarCrestone, April was the Director of the IT Project Office at California State University San Marcos. During this period she focused on the implementation and upgrade of Oracle/PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, projects related to student success, streamlining administrative processes, the implementation and management of the data warehousing application, and managing medium to large information technology projects. She has a proven track record in business process re-engineering, problem solving, and fostering communication and collaboration across all levels within an institution. In her role as Program Director of the Higher Education Workday Practice with CedarCrestone, she focuses on the planning and support of Workday implementations with an emphasis on the new Workday Student system. Ms. Grommo also holds a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership.
