Biography

Art is the Associate Vice-President (Information Services) at the University of Regina, and as such is responsible for strategic planning and execution for IT services across the institution.  Current activities include the creation of a Research IT Support group within central IT, and the development of a Data Governance Framework and Data Strategy for the insitution including a new emphasis on data analytics.  Additionally, Mr. Exner serves on the Board of CUCCIO, as Chair of the Saskatchewan Research Network Board, and as a member or Chair of numerous advisory and governance committees concerned with cyber security and other matters.
